About Solve
Solve Spain was established primarily to meet the needs of the foreign community by Nick Auvache and Lucy Brotherston.
Having moved to the Alpujarras some time ago we decided to draw on our experiences in order to provide a broad range of services to people who are considering moving into the area or for those who are simply seeking advice. We decided to embark upon the project having noticed that there was a huge gap in information that should be both easily accessible and publicly available. Therefore with these thoughts in mind, we set about producing this website in an attempt to bridge that gap.
We hope in turn, that this website will be expanded and improved to accommodate the changing needs and desires of the community. However we will only be able to do this with the active participation of its users so your feedback is most welcome. We hope that the website will come to be an indispensable tool for those living in, wishing to live in or visiting the Alpujarras.
In this website, our aim is to provide information that is; generous in its scope, freely available, accurate and up to date. We receive no funding for the site and have not been paid by any organisation, company or individual to produce the information. In that way we hope that you can be assured that the information provided is entirely independent.
Please don't be afraid to pop in and see us or contact us no matter how small the issue is. We won't charge you the earth and you might save a fortune.
