IKEA

IKEA has become an internationally recognised brand which is now taking off here in Spain. A new IKEA shop has just opened in Malaga and another one is planned for Granada within a couple of years. For some "The IKEA experience" can be fun day out for some, however, others find it very stressful. There are often queues, it can be difficult to navigate your way around the shop in order to find what you are looking for, finding the shop and travelling there and back is also time consuming and costly. If you factor in the money you might spend on items that you do not really need just because you are there, the time involved and language difficulties and of course the problem of fitting larger items into your car, plus the feel good factor of sharing the carbon footprint of the journey with others, you may feel that it would be worth paying out a bit of money for somebody to shop on your behalf.

What we offer:

  • Delivery is to a central pick-up point which is the Solve Office located in central Orgiva. Goods need to be collected the day after purchase.
  • We are happy to deliver outside of Orgiva but this will attract a small additional fee and is dependent on accessibility ( contact us for a quote).
  • We buy what you order, however if your chosen item is unavailable we will try to contact you when we are in the shop to offer an alternative or will purchase it on the next trip.

How to pay:

  • There is a minimum order charge of €20, with a deposit of 50% payable on order and the remainder due three days prior to us going to IKEA.
  • The purchase and delivery charge depends on the value of the items ordered (see table below).
  • You can pay us either by cash, bank transfer, or cheque. Paying by cheque will attract an extra charge of 2.00€

How to order:

  • We hold copies of the catalogue in the office, which you are welcome to browse through and place your orders. You can also view the entire catalogue on the web by downloading it from the IKEA website here; you will need Acrobat Reader to view the catalogue, which can be downloaded free.
  • Fill in the order form (Rich Text Format) and email the completed from to mail@solvespain.com.
  • Phone us on 958784778 or 616343589 during office hours (09:00 till 14:00).

Returns Policy:

We are happy to return any goods which are faulty free of charge, so long as the goods are accompanied with a valid receipt. This must be within the 90 day period in which IKEA will accept returns.

We are also willing to return unwanted goods, which we have purchased, free of charge (minus original delivery charge). Although if an exchange is required this will attract the normal fee (see how to pay).

Assembly and Fitting:

If you are concerned at all about mounting any of the units, or require someone to assemble them we are happy to arrange this. We will charge at a rate of €20.00/hour for the first hour and €10.00 per half hour thereafter. Please state this requirement at the time of ordering so that we can make the appropriate arrangements well in advance.
